G-Loot’s mission is to take esports from the offline scene to online tournaments – making esports accessible for everyone! We want to give gamers a chance to be recognized and even celebrated, regardless of the competition level. Every day at G-Loot, we help aspirational gamers to practice and compete like athletes, getting them one step closer to their dreams!

We are an esports platform, as well as a globally recognized tournament organizer, working with some of the biggest game publishers in the world. 

We are on the lookout for a seasoned, yet humble copywriter with a solid track record in driving business success through an insight-driven approach. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Define, develop, and maintain copy guidelines and operational manuals for all internal stakeholders of the company. Clearly articulate what the brands in the portfolio represent to our global audience as we expand geographically.

  • Ownership of the brand’s style guides and glossaries. Responsible to update regularly when new products or terms are introduced
  • Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing copy that resonates with the target audience, reflects the brand values and drives action
  • Create persuasive messages and compelling stories that inform, entertain, inspire and engage while also generating consumer brand loyalty
  • Write all copy for marketing collateral across various formats and channels 

This may include, but is not limited to: 

  • Product messaging (product/feature naming, taglines, descriptions, USPs,) 
  • E-Commerce (website, newsletters, banners, social ads, search, micro-sites)
  • PR (press releases, FAQs, event invitations) 
  • Social (blog posts, occasional consulting on social posts)
  • Presentations (marketing, sales or corporate)
  • Write for multiple B2B and B2C audiences within set guidelines for brand, voice, and tone while complying with partner guidelines
  • Responsible for the management and development of SEO content, including optimisation of keywords, developing topic ideas, and collaborating with web and brand teams
  • Work with mobile and PC teams to develop and ensure all in-app and platform copy is contextualised for the use case intent, while being aligned with the brand’s tone of voice

Who are we looking for? 

  • Head in the clouds, feet on the ground – a strategic thinker combined with can-do attitude 
  • Enjoy a start-up culture and thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Reliability in regards to deliverables

Required experience:

  • 5+ years as a professional copywriter, either at an agency or in-house. At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor of internal and external copywriters. The ability to plan and manage copywriting priorities by meeting multiple deadlines within accelerated time frames 

Language requirements:

  • Native English is highly preferred
  • Be native or fluent (both speaking and writing) in one or more of the following languages: Swedish, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Korean, Mandarin, Thai is highly valued
